The key skills and responsibilities for the Data Architect are as follows:
Experience:
- Experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related roles.
- Proven experience in modernizing legacy ETL processes and implementing hub-and-spoke models.
- Hands-on experience with API-based integration frameworks and microservices architecture.
· Technical Skills:
- Design and manage data architecture, including data models, ETL processes, Data integration across multiple sources including upstream/downstream.
- Expertise in data integration, ETL processes, and database management (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, data lakes).
- Proficiency in designing analytical dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and observability platforms (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus).
- Strong knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
- Experience with API management platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Apigee, Kong).
- Work with API management platforms to integrate and streamline data flow across applications and services.
- Implement and monitor data observability practices to ensure system performance, data reliability, and end-to-end traceability.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data storage solutions.
- Experience with IBM Tririga is a plus
